Dezeen Showroom: Los Angeles-based design brand Ceramicah has created a table lamp that aims to be both a source of light and joy for users.
Designed by Ceramicah founder Micah Blyckert in 2020, the Tera lamp is the brand’s signature table lamp and is defined by thoughtful proportions and earthy finishes.
“Architecture taught me so much about scale and proportion, and how each small detail contributes to a unified whole,” Blyckert said.
“Our pieces are relatively simple in shape, but the unique character and quality is found in the intentional proportions, precision of scale, quality of light, ease of usability and subtle handmade touch.”
The lamp is composed of a hand-thrown ceramic body, complemented by solid brass details.
Intended to add an organic feel to any space, the lamp comes in a variety of finishes ranging from glazed to lime plastered.
